Bonn, city of contrasts

With its 2000 year history, Bonn is much more than the former capital city of Germany; rather, it is the pearl along the Rhine with its charming combination of historic and modern architecture, the many world-renowned museums and the beautiful Old Town. But it is not only the many sightseeing attractions which make it worth your while to visit Bonn and the Dorint Venusberg Bonn. The nearby Siebengebirge Mountains are an attraction for visitors from around the world, who enjoy an active outdoor vacation or short-break. But the region also offers a host of other tourist attractions like the Drachenfels peak (Dragon’s Rock), the Rhine valley itself or Poppelsdorf Castle.
